Suzette co-founded Equity Brewing Co., the first all women owned and operated craft brewery in the state of Oklahoma. From 2021 to 2024, Equity served inventive beer that not only tasted great but supported social change and encouraged greater diversity and inclusion in the beer community. Equity welcomed everyone to the craft beer table through its beers, collaborations, and many taproom events.
Suzette is passionate about supporting change-makers working at the local level. With that goal in mind, she founded the Third Space Foundation and has served as its executive director for over six years. The local 501c3 provides fiscal sponsorship for small community organizations needing assistance administering their charitable activities.
Equity Cookbook Coming Soon!
Although the Equity taproom closed its doors in 2024, Suzette and her Equity partner and daughter, Hannah, are continuing their mission of making unexpected beer combinations accessible to all. This new cookbook will feature Equity’s most beloved stable and special occasion beers, reimagined for home brewers. Information on ordering the cookbook will be shared here soon.
